Yesterday was my neice’s birthday; she turned three years old. Seeing her smile and playing with her toys made me so happy. My heart filled with joy seeing her so happy…I wish her mother was that happy. My sister is in a miserable marriage to a bastard, my neice’s father. And it angers me to know that my neice lives in such a household…it hurts so much that my sister would rather be in an abusive relationship and sacrifice her and her daughter’s happiness and freedom just so she won’t be loney.
