Y’know, I love how my mother is allowed to bully everyone because she’s in a pissy mood for whatever ungodly reason- but you can’t give her ANY criticisms whatsoever? Yeah. I love it. *sarcasm* I honestly don’t know what her problem is. She’s been SO bitchy lately (well…always) and she aways hurts my feelings by the things she says but I’m supposed to suck it up, but apparently every little thing I say is hurtful,etc.
Recently she’s been making snide little remarks about my gift-giving ability. Ryan’s birthday is coming up and I ran an idea by her and she said “…Ryan’s given you really good gifts-like Christmas and Valentine’s Day, his were more emotional…” does that imply to you that your gifts aren’t as sentimental or thoguhtful as the other? It did to me too. So I made a comment to her and she just kept making snide remarks and than shouts at me “No one can ever talk to you”. That really upsets me. But y’know what? I’m still gonna have a good week. I know that he feels my gifts and other things are sentimental and thoughtful to him and I know he appreciates them and that’s all that matters.
But apparently, my mother is just a regular Hallmark greeting card. Yeah. Maybe to a brick wall. She’s about as sentimental as horse shit. So I really shouldn’t let her comment bother me, but I couldn’t help but feel slightly offended by the comment(s). But I am still determined to have a good week :]
